The Advantages of Shower Panel

Shower panel is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative to decorate the shower enclosure. Besides this, it also offers many other advantages to the installer and the end user.

Shower panels are manufactured in different sizes to suit shower enclosures, domestic steam rooms and full bathrooms. They can be supplied as complete kits that include all required profiles, sealants and accessories.

Shower panels are quicker and easier to install than wall tiles. It can take several days for the adhesive and grout to dry with tiles. Shower panel installation is much simpler and sometimes it can be installed by someone who is a competent DIY-ers. Shower panels also can stop the development of bathroom wall mould that is often found in between tiles.

The design of shower panels incorporates a PVC section on the back and a PVC color co-ordinate or polished chrome aluminum face. The two parts simply click the two panels together and a self-adhesive tape creates a watertight joint. When fitted together tongue and grooved edges, shower panels can reduce the need for joining strips, and then fixings can be neatly concealed. The outer edge of the panels is fitted with an edging profile to create a neat and co-ordinate finish. 

Conventional tile installations often result in leaks as the seal which between the bath or shower tray and wall breaks down over time, the bottom seal system on shower panels accommodates the expansion and contraction of the panel and ensures that this doesn't happen.

Shower panels are very easy to clean and just need wiping with a damp cloth to keep them looking as good as new. Unlike wallpaper or paint, which can peel or flake, and tiles which can crack and chip, shower panels are durable and are unlikely to suffer any damage - even after a number of years
